We call it Golden Week because it contains four national holidays.
国民の祝日が4日も含まれているので、ゴールデンウィークと呼んでいます。
These national holidays are April 29th – Showa Day, May 3rd – Constitution Day, May 4th – Greenery Day, and May 5th – Children’s Day.
